Dine at Fergus’ Historic Inn, one of the finest examples of Scottish architecture in the area. Downtown Fergus lends itself to a pre or post dinner stroll through tree lined streets with old stone buildings or along the Grand River (best views from the footbridge crossing the river – access behind the Fergus Public Library).

Other places of Interest:

  • Best Baa Dairy – Fergus’ own sheep milk dairy featured on the Breadalbane’s Farmalicious menu. Visit the cheese store for fresh and aged cheeses, yogurt and more.
  • Fraberts Fresh Food – Small family-operated food market, offering homemade ready-made meals, fresh local produce, fresh bread baked daily, local meats, gourmet cheeses, tasty snacks, and other unique foods.
  • Wellington Museum and Archives –  A National Historic Site located in between Elora and Fergus. The Museum features nine galleries with exhibits about life and people of Wellington County.
  • Elora Quarry – Old limestone quarry with steep cliffs and turquoise water. Great place for a dip on a hot day.
