Our birch syrup is produced by tapping the mature Golden Birch trees which have grown over many years on our family farm.
Bert and Kathy Beilke have lived on their homefarm in Wellington County for over 20 years. Raising their 4 children in the country, close to the area that they both grew up on their parents farm, what a legacy, what a way of life… the best life that a person could have is ours and we are grateful and blessed.
Birch Syrup is a unique treat, semi-sweet, with an earthy full bodied flavour. The syrup has a rich caramel flavour with a note of molasses and a savoury balsamic aftertaste. Ideal for unique culinary dishes, flavouring in sauces, deserts and specialty drinks. Beneficial as a nutraceutical, the birch tree is called ‘the giving tree’ in native and mythological lore.
